WHAT MATTERS MOST TO US AT CARNEGIE MELLON IS TEACHING THE ART OF MUSIC – PLACING THE ONE-ON-ONE WORK OF STUDENT AND TEACHER AT THE HEART OF THE EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE – A TRADITION SINCE OUR FOUNDING IN 1912.
The Burke Foundation was established in Princeton, NJ in 1989 by the late Jim E. Burke and his wife Diane (“Didi”) Burke. During his 37 years with Johnson & Johnson, Jim Burke built a legacy of visionary leadership, and served as Chairman and CEO for the last 13 years of his tenure.
The Heinz Endowments has awarded 62 grants totaling nearly $11.1 million to support programs that strengthen children and families, focusing on areas including food insecurity, education, housing and environmental health.
We believe that the arts and humanities are where we express our complex humanity, and we believe that everyone deserves the beauty, transcendence, and freedom to be found there. Through our grants, we seek to build just communities enriched by meaning and empowered by critical thinking, where ideas and imagination can thrive.
Established by five intrepid women in 1939, Pittsburgh Opera is viewed as one of the most vibrant opera organizations in the U.S., with a rich artistic tradition, outstanding educational programs, an acclaimed artist training program, and a progressive outlook toward the future.
The Alleghany Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides financial support to area nonprofits and local government entities to improve the quality of life in the Alleghany Highlands of Virginia.
